A penalty kick in the 42nd minute by Community gave the Viqueens a 3 to 2 win and spoiled the chance of a perfect season for the Lady Rocket soccer team on Friday in the semifinals of the Central Tennessee Soccer Conference on Friday. Westwood tied the match at 2 as the horn sounded to end the 1st half on a beautiful unassisted goal by Beatris Barrera. Community dominated the time of possession in the first 30 minutes scoring first in the 17th minute. Barrera drew Westwood even one minute later, but a Community rush made it 2 to 1 for the visitors in the 20th minute. Westwood turned up the attacking pressure, but a collision in the penalty gave Community the PK which they used to take the final lead of the match. Westwood had 5 excellent scoring chances in the last 15 minutes, but shots by Barrera and Faith Willoughby could not get past the Community keeper. The loss was the first loss of the season for Westwood as they finish the season with a record of 6-1-1.
