Lady Raiders Drop Warren County on the Links on Monday, Red Raiders Finish 2nd.

After falling to the Lady Pioneers twice already this season, the Coffee County Lady Raider golf team exacted some revenge on Monday with a 10 stroke win over Warren County at Willowbrook. The Lady Raiders were led by junior Savannah Quick who shot an even par 36 over the 9 hole match. Sophie Vinson fired a 40 and Teagan Perry carded a 43 as the Lady Raiders won by a score of 76 to 86 overĀ a Warren County team that many expect to compete for a state title. With the win, Coffee County improves to 42 and 5 on the season.

The Red Raiders got a solid score of 161 to beat Franklin County by 16 strokes. Warren County had the low team score for the boys firing a 153. Coffee County was led by Samuel Prater who fired a 3 over 39. John Parriger was one stroke back at 40, while Hayden Proffitt and Reid Lawrence shot matching 41’s. The Red Raiders record moves to 41 and 14 on the season.
The Red Raiders will travel to Smithville to take on Cannon County on Tuesday for a 9 hole match teeing off at 4 PM. The Lady Raiders are off until after Labor Day as they join the Red Raiders in McMinnville for the Keith Maxwell Invitational on Tuesday, September 8th. That tournament tees off at 9:00 AM.
