Coffee County Youth Bass Club Hosts 1st Night Tournment

The Coffee County Youth Bass Club hosted their 1st night fishing tournament ever on Saturday night on Normandy Lake.  “Blasting off” from Barton Springs boat ramp at 6 PM, 7 different teams of the Coffee County club competed in the night event.  Fishing continued until midnight when the fish were weighed and the winners were announced.

Winning the “Big Fish” award was Hunter Sanders who landed a 2.65 pound bass.  Sanders, along with fishing partner Brayden Majors, also claimed the first place award as the young anglers had a stringer of 4 fish weighing in at a total of 8.84 pounds.  The team of Issac Turner and Cam Rutledge claimed 2nd place with a 2 fish total of 3.18 pounds and the team of Hogan Scott and Tyler Shelton weighed in a single fish at 1.58 pounds.
