CCMS pitcher Haley Richardson delivers a pitch during Saturday’s game with White County

Haley Richardson gave up a leadoff single to White County on the first pitch of the game, then held them hitless the rest of the day en route to a 15 to 0 win on Saturday at Coffee County Middle School.  Richardson was also productive at the plate with an RBI double in a 4 run first inning for Coffee County and an RBI single in an 11 run 3rd inning for the Lady Raiders.  Also hitting doubles for Coffee County were Sierra Mahar and Erin Ferrell with both coming in the penultimate 3rd inning as Coffee County sent 14 batters to the plate to end the game early via the mercy rule.  Grace Pippenger was 2 for 4 on the day with 3 RBI’s.  The win raises the Lady Raiders conference record to 7 and 1 as they begin a tough week of games on Monday when Tullahoma visits for a 5:00 PM game.  Coffee County travels to Tullahoma on Tuesday, before hosting North Franklin on Wednesday and Lincoln County on Thursday.
