Coffee County Baseball Falls In District Action

Coffee County hosted Columbia in District 8-AAA baseball Tuesday night at Powers Field. The Lions grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the first but Raiders hit the ball very well and tied the game on a run in the 2nd and one more in the 4th. Trace Friedlein and Kyle Douglas had RBI hits. Columbia added a run in the 6th and 3 more in the 7th for 6-2 win.
Zach Holder was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game as he went 4 for 4 at the plate.
Coffee County and Columbia will each other again Wednesday in Columbia starting at 4pm.
