Trailing 15 to 11 in the 3rd set, the Coffee County Lady Raider volleyball team rallied back to claim a 25 to 21 set win and a straight set match victory over Tullahoma on Tuesday night. The Lady Raiders had dominated the match prior to the third set winning the first 2 sets 25-16 and 25-14. Strong net play saw Coffee County score 20 kills on the match in the Senior Night victory. Dianna Davis led the team in kills with 6, while Aerial Williams added 5 kills and Maddie Taylor snuck across 3 winners. Davis also led the Lady Raiders in aces with 8, including 6 in a row during the 2nd set. Makayla Morgan and Kaylee Skipper each had 3 aces all of them coming in the final set. Taylor led the team in assists with 9 while Davis led Coffee County in digs with 5. The win improves the Lady Raiders district record to 6 and 2 on the season. Coffee County will be at home on Saturday as they host the Southern Slam tournament at the Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gym. Matches begin at 9 AM.
