CHS Cross Country Teams Post Strong Showing on Tuesday

The Coffee County CHS Cross Country teams got a total of 5 Top 25 finishes in the Arrowhead Ranch Meet in Normandy on Tuesday. James Lynn finished in 2nd place in the boys race, while Andy Rosson was 11th and Bradley Kishpaugh was 19th. Makenzie Morgan finished in 13th place while Byanka Woods came in 24th place for the girls. Other finishers for Coffee County were Neil Slone on 30th, Edgar Marceleno in 37th, Ben Reid in 47th and Moises Ramirez in 78th place in the boys heat. In the girls heat, Katie Folke finished 27th while Jasmine Farrar was 40th.

The Raiders and Lady Raiders will travel to Sewanee on Thursday, October 1st, for a meet at St. Andrews-Sewanee. The Coffee County Middle School runners will compete in the sectional cross country meet on Saturday at Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna.
