A hat trick from Julia Duncan lifted the Coffee County Middle School to a 7 to 1 win over White County on Tuesday night in conference soccer action. Emilee Roberson added 2 goals while Anna Amado and Jenna Garretson each notched a goal. The Lady Raiders dominated the time of possession and held the visiting Lady Warriors to a single shot on the night. Leading 5 to 0 in the 48th minute, a Lady Raider handball in the box resulted in a penalty kick for the Lady Warriors. Savannah Muse converted the goal.
Garretson got the scoring started in the 4th minute off a centering pass from Duncan. Duncan scored the next 2 goals, at the 24th minute from in front and in the 27th minute as she arched in a beautiful corner kick. Roberson’s first goal came off a corner kick in the 27th minute while Amado added a goal in the 54th minute on a feed from Reagan Ellison. Roberson added her final goal in the 58th minute to lift the Lady Raiders to a 3 and 0 record on the year and 2 and 0 in conference play. Coffee County returns to the pitch on Saturday morning as they travel to Warren County for a 10 AM game.
