Mrs. Dorothy Louise King, age 70, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at NHC in Tullahoma.
Services will be Monday, August 17th at 3:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be Monday from 1:00 PM until time of service.
A native of Imboden, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hurtis Horner and Rose Hall Horner.
Louise was a spiritual lady with a very strong faith and a true prayer warrior. She enjoyed watching CSI and NASCAR on TV, she loved to play cards and was fiercely competitive. Louise loved to take pictures, she also enjoyed collecting owls, birds, deer and chickens. She loved the holidays and spending time with her family she loved so dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Joe Horner, one sister; Wilma Jean Vocke and one grandchild; Jessica King.
She is survived by her husband; Ralph King of Manchester, two sons; Ron King and Bob King and his wife Brandi both of Manchester, two brothers; Larry Horner and wife Pam and Donald “JL” Horner both of Lee County, Virginia, five sisters; Linda Arnette and husband Thomas of Wise County, Virginia, Teresa Wells of Lee County, Virginia, Judy Carter of Wise County, Virginia, Billy June Ramsey and husband Billy of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and Barbara Edens of Richmond, Virginia, three grandchildren; Catherine Shaneyfelt and husband Geoffrey of Middletown, Indiana, Anthony King of Manchester, Tennessee and Jonathon King of Middletown, Ohio and four great grandchildren; Colby, Collin, Kennady and Koen Shaneyfelt.
