Leonard K. Turner, age 80, former Manchester, Tennessee resident, passed away on January 2, 2015 at the Falkville Nursing Center in Falkville, Alabama.
Mr. Turner was a retired Millwright with General Motors, Inc. and a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ in Manchester.
He was born in Phil Campbell, Alabama to his parents, the late Raymond Harris Turner and Winifred Beatrice McCollough Turner. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Iva Allison Turner in 2013; sisters, Anna Turner Reed and Ernistine Turner Fagg; and brothers, Gravis Turner and Raymond H. Turner, Jr.
Mr. Turner is survived by his children, Larry K. (Debbie) Turner of Sylmar, CA, Raymond H. Turner of Pensacola, FL, Charlotte T. (Thomas) Cochran of Falkville, AL and Jack D. (Dianne) Turner of Yorekoille, IL; three sisters, Alice F. Wagner of TX, Julia (Joe) Lee of IN and Peggy (Ted) Defronzo of Elkhart, IN; three brothers, Horace (Rocky) Turner of NV, George W. (Patricia) Turner of IN and Carroll G. (Phyllis) Turner of IN; seven grandchildren, Adam Cochran, Alex Cochran, Carrie Venable, Troy Turner, Tristian Turner, Devin Turner and Nicolas Turner; four great-grandchildren, Adam Jay Cochran, Jr., Chad Logan Venable, Riley Turner and Ivanna Allison Cochran; and a host of other relatives and friends.
