11/14/15 — Woodie Templeton

templetonLocal businessman, Woodie Templeton, age 75 passed this life on November 5,
2015 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma. Memorial services are scheduled
for Saturday, November 14 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Visitation
with the family will be from 12 PM until service time.

A native of Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Buck and Kathleen
Templeton. He was a 1958 graduate of Tullahoma High School and graduated
from MTSU with a degree in Industrial Technology. After graduation he
worked as an HVAC designer for the Thermal Transfer Plant in Nashville and
as HVAC project manager for Hickory Hollow Mall. In 1979, he and his family
returned to Tullahoma to manage the family business, Tullahoma Floor
Covering & Supply, Inc. He was an avid NASCAR and University of Tennessee
Football fan. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and was
very proud of them. He also enjoyed restoring and working on antique cars.
His favorite hobby was remodeling tour buses for music stars.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Faye
Templeton Colyar.

Woodie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Guinn Templeton of
Tullahoma; two sons, Jackson Craig Templeton of Tullahoma and Jason Woodrow
Templeton and his wife, Leslie of Tullahoma and three grandchildren,
Jackson Alexander Templeton, Carson Woodrow Templeton and Lydia Allison
Templeton.
