Hawk, Cheri Ellen, longtime resident of Tullahoma, died Monday, October 12th, 2015 at Bailey Manor in Manchester. Cheri was born in Albertville, Alabama on November 2nd, 1935. She was the ninth and youngest child of Charles and Josephine Long. She graduated from Albertville High School and following her graduation, worked for DuPont Industries in Augusta, Georgia. She moved to Tullahoma, Tennessee after marrying Glenn Hawk in January of 1956 and worked for their family-owned business, Hawk Hardware. Cheri retired from Hawk Hardware in 1986. A member of First Christian Church, she enjoyed participating in service circles and singing in the choir. An avid devotee of the arts, Cheri appreciated a good book, classic style, a well maintained garden, and keeping a lovely home. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Hawk; daughter Sandy Klonaris and her husband Kim; granddaughter, Laura Beth and her husband Matthew; and great-granddaughter, Madeline. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
