According to deputies with the Coffee County Sheriff’s office, the driver, Andrew Noah Mashburn of Bremen, Ga., was pulling from the scales and noticed black smoke coming from the dash and it smelled like an electrical fire. He then got out of the vehicle and it was on fire.
Smoke from the fire could be seen in downtown Manchester.

According to troopers at the scales, the truck recently had had some electrical repair performed on it.
Hazardous material cleanup was summoned to clean up the debris of the burned truck, fuel and chemicals leaked from the truck.
