This summer the students involved in Westwood Middle School’s STEM Aviation Program finally reaped their reward for the hard work they put in this past school year. The STEM Aviation Program at Westwood Middle School is an afterschool voluntary class for students to learn engineering principles through aviation concepts. Students built models, used flight simulators, and more to complete their studies in this after school program. Finally on Sunday, June 29th graduates of this course experienced flight first hand when they flew in a glider along with the Eagleville Soaring Club.
