Coffee County District Attorney Mickey Layne
Coffee County District Attorney Mickey Layne, has been presented with the McCutchen Award by the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference. The award is presented annually to one of Tennessee’s district attorneys who exemplifies the goals and ideals of the organization by improving the quality of justice in the state, especially regarding the collection of child support payments.
Layne’s child support office, which is projected to collect approximately $6 million in child support payments this year, has consistently ranked near the top of the highest-performing offices in the state.
The McCutchen Award, named for Gen. Patrick H. McCutchen, a legendary and beloved leader among Tennessee district attorneys.
