Law Enforcement Searching For Two Armed Robbery Suspects

Franklin County Sheriff’s Office authorities are attempting to locate two men in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday evening at approximately 9:00pm. According to a report filed by Corporal Chuck Stines, two male subjects armed with what appeared to be two handguns and a knife approached the clerk at Lakeside Market located at 8677 AEDC Road Winchester, TN. and forced him inside the store where they demanded he give them all the money in the store. The two assailants then forced their way into the office section of the store where additional money was taken. During the robbery, the clerk did sustain a laceration above the eye. Once the two suspects had gathered all the money and property they could before they fled the store in the direction of Decherd, TN.
One suspect was described as a larger man, wearing a mask, blue gloves and dark clothing. The second suspect was described as a smaller man, wearing a dark colored hoodie with white hand pouches, khaki pants and black shoes with white soles. The store owner did relay to law enforcement that the suspects did leave the scene with approximately $7,500.00 in cash and at least two cartons of Newport cigarettes.
