First National Bank has been a big part of Manchester and the surrounding area since 1900 and has been in their current building near the square since 1973. If you’ve driven by the downtown area recently you may have noticed some work going on to renovate the downtown location.
According the Brent Parsley, Community President, “After 43 years it was time to update and give this location a facelift”
After engineers deemed the building solid and in great shape structurally, bank leaders started planning some upgrades to give the building a modern look. Not only will it look new and attractive on the outside but new features will soon welcome customers when they come inside. A coffee bar, computer stations for online banking and even a new elevator will be installed during renovations.
Parsley went on the say “First National Bank is committed to Manchester, and we are glad to stay here near the square area and help to preserve and improve the downtown area.”
Parsley also added “We ask everyone to excuse our mess for a while as we get this work completed, but we are open for business as usual while work is being completed”
An open house is planned for sometime in the summer of 2016 and everyone in the community will be invited.
