Encounter Life Church to host “Night to Shine” event in Manchester for Teens with Special Needs

For the last 3 years, Encounter Life Church has hosted the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine event in Manchester. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people over the age of 14 with special needs. On one night, February 9th, 2018, more than 540 churches from around the world will come together to serve approximately 90,000 honored guests through the support of more than 175,000 volunteers. Locally, all of the festivities will happen in the gymnasium at First Baptist Church, located at 1006 Hillsboro Blvd. in Manchester, from 6-9pm.
Adam Cutshaw, Pastor at Encounter Life said this, “It’s a beautiful thing to see so many volunteers from our church and others come together to demonstrate God’s love in a real and practical way. As people who have experienced God’s love toward us, through Jesus, it only makes sense for us to extend that love to those in our community. It’s a joy and an honor to celebrate with all of our honored guests. It really is an unforgettable night.” Events for the night include a limo ride for participants, food, music and more.
Registration is now open for the event for both guests and volunteers. If you or someone you know is interested in attending the event as a guest, there’s a registration link at encounterlifechurch.org. Similarly, if you’re interested in volunteering for this year’s event, you will also find a link on the site.
