Coffee County hosted Cumberland County on Friday night at the Joe Frank Patch Memorial gymnasium in their first district home game of the year. With the win, Coffee County improved to 9 and 10 on the year and 2 and 0 in District 6AAA. Coffee County was led in scoring by Katie Reid who had 11 points while Missy Jones added 10. Missy Jones was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game.

In the boy’s game, Coffee County waged a 32 minute battle with Cumberland County before falling to the Jets 60 to 58. Coffee County led by 1 as they entered the 4th quarter but Cumberland County opened the final frame on a 10 to 2 run and held off a late Raider rally at the end. Coffee County was led in scoring by Lance Crismond who netted 20 points while Lucas Crismond added 15 points and Addison Carter scored 14 as Addison was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game. The loss dropped Coffee to 7 and 11 on the year and their District 6AAA record to 0 and 2.
