Motlow basketball split its games Friday night at Chattanooga St. The Lady Bucks fell 64-59, missing a late 3pt that would have tied the score. The Bucks won 109-99 after leading by 20 in second half.
On Saturday The Cleveland State Lady Cougars beat the Motlow Lady Bucks in Cleveland. The Lady Bucks (3-6/2-3) were led by LeKera Tayler with 11 points.
The men’s team continued their great weekend play beating the 13th nationally ranked Cougars of Cleveland St 66-58.
11 Bucks scored on the day led by Perrin Buford’s 12 and Devante Jones chipping in with 11.
The Motlow Bucks lead TCCAA standings with 5-0 record, 7-2 overall.
Motlow will host Walters St on Friday and Roane St on Saturday.
