DJ KC is Thunder Radio's newest DJ. He has had the love of music since he was a little kid. For over fifteen years he has provided music for weddings and parties. He is an experienced competition scratch mixing DJ and music producer. On top of his untouchable turntable and mixing skills the world has recognized that DJ KC is a second to none club DJ.

His music inspirations over the years have been anywhere from Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson and of course his parents who are responsible for bringing him his love of music. Born and raised in South Florida, with the love and support of his family, he decided to make the move out of Florida due to two massive hurricanes and the destruction of his home. His decision to move was to provide a more relaxing lifestyle for his family which followed with the move to Manchester, Tennessee five years ago.
Join Howard for three hours of easy listening music from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

"I play the music you just do not hear often on the radio today. Hear big band music, instrumentals from groups long forgotten and vocals by great artists from the past. Most of the music is from my collection of old records, so you may hear an occasional scratch, snap or pop. So tune in on Sunday evening at 4:00 for three hours of good easy listening music on Music Memories."

Dennis Flatt
When your last name is Flatt, it is immediately assumed that you are associated with bluegrass music. Dennis has worked and lived in Manchester for the past 19 years, the last eight of which he has been a co-host of the “Bluegrass Crossroads Show.” When not at AEDC, Dennis enjoys hunting, camping and cooking for large events. He is also passionate about church, songwriting, and restoring old instruments. His best times include playing music with his daughter Rachel, friends and just working in his shop. He is quick to say, “Music has been a tremendous blessing to me.” (Oh, by the way…Dennis IS related to Lester Flatt.)
Kraig Smith
Kraig was raised in South Dakota polka country, where he began playing electric bass and button box accordion with his parents' dance band at the age of 11. After graduating from the South Dakota School of Mines with a degree in Geological Engineering, Kraig attended graduate school in Missouri where he was introduced to the two loves of his life, his future wife Valerie and bluegrass music. In 1992, after a whirlwind five-year courtship, the young married couple moved to Nashville to pursue engineering and music opportunities. Kraig and Valerie moved to the hamlet of Bell Buckle, in 2002 where their daughter Josephine was born. Kraig continues his engineering career, and on the weekends he can often be found playing guitar, accordion, and pennywhistle with The Creek, a four-piece eclectic folk/country/bluegrass combo.
Becky Buller Haley
For the past eight years, Becky Buller Haley has been touring around the world as part of the award-winning Bluegrass/Americana band Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike. Her songs are featured on the albums of many prominent Bluegrass artists, the most notable being "Fishers of Men" as recorded by Rhonda Vincent on her "One Step Ahead" release for Rounder Records. In addition to being a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, Becky teaches private music lessons; is a music publisher, record producer, freelance writer, does radio relations and publicity for Bell Buckle Records, and is co-host of "The Bluegrass Crossroads Show" on WMSR 1320 AM in Manchester, where she and her husband Jeff Haley reside. She is a recipient of the 2006 "Recorded Event of the Year" Award from the International Bluegrass Music Assn. (IBMA) for her work with the Daughters of Bluegrass. Becky graduated in 2001 from East Tennessee State University with a degree in public relations. BeckyBuller.com
Max Northcutt
Max Northcutt has been in folk and bluegrass music for almost forty years. He and Tom Brantley along with Daniel Brantley aired the first weekend bluegrass show on WMSR in June 1998. It has become a favorite of bluegrass fans ever since. Max was a member of several folk and bluegrass groups in the 70s and recorded with the "Homefolks" in 1985. He currently plays and sings with the Friday Night Orphan Brigade. And for his day job, he is a land surveyor, and has been at that for over thirty years.
Jeff Haley
For a decade now, Jeff Haley has been bringing you great bluegrass music right here on WMSR. A Manchester native, Jeff grew up listening to his banjo-picking dad Sterling Haley and his extended family play music, wearing out all the bluegrass records he could get a hold of. However, it wasn’t until after high school that Jeff became serious about music himself. He joined up with the Big Creek Band on guitar, touring locally and, in 1989, appearing on the Grand Ol’ Opry. He is featured on the group’s album “Both Sides of the Big Creek.” Jeff went to work for Gallagher Guitars in Wartrace from 1992-93. He is currently employed at AEDC in Tullahoma. Jeff is currently a member of The Friday Night Orphan Brigade, local bluegrass legends who have opened for the likes of Ralph Stanley and Mike Snider. Jeff is the song leader at Hurricane Grove Baptist Church in Manchester. He proposed to his wife Becky Buller Haley at WMSR studios while recording a bluegrass Valentine's Day show. They married in May 2009 and live in Manchester.
Valerie Smith
Since 1996, Valerie Smith and her award-winning group Liberty Pike have been traveling all over the world sharing her fiery brand of original Bluegrass and Americana music. To date she has released six albums, the most recent being a duet record with Liberty Pike member Becky Buller Haley called "Here's A Little Song," which won several awards including the 2009 "Bluegrass Album of the Year" from the Rural Roots Music Commission. Smith is the winner of the 2006, 2002 and 2001 "Recorded Event of the Year" Awards from the International Bluegrass Music Assn. (IBMA) as well as a 2002 Grammy nominee. She lives in Bell Buckle, with her husband Kraig and daughter Josie. The Smiths are co-owners of Bell Buckle Records with J. Gregory Heinike. Valerie and Kraig write much of the material she performs. They are also co-hosts of "The Bluegrass Crossroads Show" on Thunder Radio. They promote several music events throughout the year, the most notable being the Bell Buckle Music Cruise, now in its seventh year. Valerie is a graduate on the University of Missouri in Kansas City with a degree in vocal music education. She taught junior high music in both Missouri and Tennessee for several years before pursuing a career in performance. ValerieSmithOnline.com
