Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 23 at 2 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lynchburg Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 23 from 12 PM until the time of the service.
A native of Moore County, he was the son of the late Newt and Lodar Golden Branch.
Mr. Branch retired from Jack Daniels Distillery after many years of service. He enjoyed gardening and after retiring he enjoyed selling his home grown fruits and vegetable on the Lynchburg square. He also enjoyed working with his goats. He loved his special companion, his dog “Penny”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, J. D., Kip and Ernest Branch and two sisters, Hazel Davis and Elsie McAdams.
Mr. Branch is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edna Mae Dodson Branch of Lynchburg; one son, Stanley Branch and his wife, Connie of Lynchburg; one brother, Houston Branch and his wife, Jewell of Moore County; two sisters, Helen Bell and Toni Durham, both of Tullahoma; two grandchildren, Ronnie Price Branch and Gary Shane Childers, both of Lynchburg; one great granddaughter, Melissa Mae Branch of Portland, Oregon; one great great grandchild, Ryder Lee Branch and many special friends.
