Homicide Investigation begins after woman’s body found in Grundy County

A woman’s body was found lying near a wooded trail Sunday and officials now say her death was homicide. The Grundy County Sheriff’s office discovered 26-year-old Samantha Chandler’s body in the Ross Creek area just after noon.
