Beautiful wildflowers and spectacular waterfalls await you on this 4.5 mile hike into the Collins Gulf. The hike is strenuous so be prepared with good footwear, food, and water.

Grundy Forest Privet Pull
Want to keep the natural area natural?  You can by helping rid the forest of the invasive Chinese Privet bush.  Tools will be provided, but be sure to bring personal protective equipment like gloves, boots, and work clothes.  Meet at Grundy Forest State Natural Area parking lot.

Join Ranger George and begin this years Natural Areas Week with a moderate four mile hike round trip to view beautiful Savage Falls.  Wear good shoes or boots.  Bring a snack and water.  Bring a raincoat or poncho if raining.  Bug repellent for those pesky ticks.  Don’t forget your camera.
