Our Leaf Vacuum Service will resume again this fall. All leaves and grass must be recycled under State and Federal regulations.
All leaves placed out to be vacuumed must be free of any sticks, rocks, limbs, etc. or any other debris that would harm the equipment.

SCV CAMP 72 October 22, 2013 MEETING
Maj. Gen. Benjamin F. Cheatham Camp 72 will have a dinner meeting at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Oak Restaurant in Manchester. The meeting will start at 7:00 P.M.

The program will be “The Rise, Fall, and Resurrection of General Hood” by Brent Lokey. Hood’s post-war notes and papers were found recently and one of his descendants has set out to vindicate him. Brent served in the Air Force for 25 years and was an adjunct faculty member at Motlow State Community College for 11 years.
Meetings are open to the general public and all War Between the States buffs have a special invitation for the program.
Membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans is open to all males 12 years of age and above who had an ancestor that served honorably in the Confederate Armed Forces or the Confederate Congress and can prove kinship either lineal or collaterally. Help is available to anyone interested in finding and proving kinship.

Horsing Around for Lunch is Horse Play’s Largest fund raising event of the year to help support the daily operating expense & future projects for the program. Horse Play, Inc. is a local non-profit organization for the children with mental and/or physical challenges in Bedford, Coffee, Franklin and Moore Counties.
