Hunter is a tan and white hunting dog with orange collar. Lola is a black mixed breed with blue eyes and pricked ears. Lord is a nice black Lab-mix. Mick is a black Bull Terrier with pink collar. Russ is a tan mixed breed. Tawny is a tan mixed breed.

Come to our first annual Park Challenge run through the parks of the City of Manchester and Old Stone Fort State Park.
This is an 8 mile run that will test your training and is great preparation for the Oak Barrel Half Marathon and the Country Music Marathon.
Golf Course hill will get you ready for Whiskey Hill and test that cardio endurance.
Park Challenge will be on Saturday, March 15 and the registration fee is $40 which includes race shirt, winners medals and a boxed lunch.
The race will be timed.

Children ages 4 years old up to 5th grade are invited to Canvas Community Church, 1886 McArthur Dr, Manchester, TN (across from ASCEND Federal Credit Union) on March 16 thru 19 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for their Kid’s Crusade.
The theme is “Mission Possible”.
It will be a fun and interactive way to learn God’s word thru skits, puppets, lessons, music and games.

Join Ranger Park at the Visitor’s Center for an introduction into the world of mycology and then a short walk into the woods behind the center to practice your new skills. Wear sturdy shoes and long pants.
@6:00 p.m. Exploring our World, “Planet Earth, pt. 2 Mountains”
Meet Park at the Visitor’s Center for a viewing of the famed “Planet Earth” series. This 11 part series is a brilliantly filmed series really delves into the beauty of our world.
@10:00 a.m. Grundy Lakes Cleanup:
Meet Ranger Park at the Grundy Lakes parking lot for a clean-up of the area. We will be handling glass and metal, gloves will be provided, but wear long pants as well. Come help our park look spectacular!
@11:00 am Buggytop Jaunt:
The Carter State Natural Area is known for its karst features, and although caves here are currently closed, it is still well worth the visit. Join Ranger Jason for this moderate 4 mile jaunt down the Buggytop trail. Along the way we will discuss the flora, fauna, and geology of area.
@1:00 p.m.: Foster Falls Geology:
Join Ranger Park at the Foster Falls parking lot for a moderate 2-mile hike to explore the geologic history of the region. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
@4:00 p.m. Snake Show:
Come meet our 3 snakes and learn what makes them tick. We will also learn safety when encountering snakes and dispel popular myths about these mysterious creatures. Meet Ranger Park at the South Cumberland Visitor’s Center.
