An Invitation to “HOSPICE 101”

                                  “Living Life with Hospice”Motlow 3

Would you like to learn about hospice and end-of-life choices?   Want to put an end to rumors and myths about exactly what hospice is, what is offered, who pays for hospice services, who can refer to hospice, how to sign up, or just how to get more information?

If you have ever wondered about these or other questions related to hospice or end-of-life care, this is the course for you.   In conjunction with Motlow State Community College, Hospice Compassus will be offering a 3-week session starting in April.   We will introduce you to members of our team and be available to answer these questions and more!  This class is designed for the community at large, health care providers or any individual facing end of life choices for their loved ones.

There is no charge for this class; CEU’s are available for $15.  Classes are scheduled on Thursdays:  April 4th, 11th and 18th 2013 (with different speakers each night) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  These classes will be held in the Marcum Technology Lecture Hall, Room 112, on the Moore County Campus.

For more information or to register for the classes, please contact Julia Logan-Mayes, Volunteer Coordinator, at julia.logan-mayes@hospicecom.com or call 931-455-9118.
