Grundy Forest Privet Pull
Want to keep the natural area natural? You can by helping rid the forest of the invasive Chinese Privet bush. Tools will be provided, but be sure to bring personal protective equipment like gloves, boots, and work clothes. Meet at Grundy Forest State Natural Area parking lot.

Savage Falls Hike
Join Ranger George and begin this years Natural Areas Week with a moderate four mile hike round trip to view beautiful Savage Falls. Wear good shoes or boots. Bring a snack and water. Bring a raincoat or poncho if raining. Bug repellent for those pesky ticks. Don’t forget your camera.

Natural Bridge Geology Talk
Overlooking Lost Cove, this small but unique natural area will interest and delight! Geology will be the theme, but we will also discuss the natural and cultural history of the area. Meet at Natural Bridge State Natural Area parking lot.

Are You Batty?
Bring the kids and join Ranger George for an informative talk about the nature of bats. This is a program designed for children ages 5 yrs and up!
To be held at The Fire Department on the Woodbury Highway.
We will be serving country ham, sausage, gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee.
The price is $7.00.
All proceeds will be used for operational expense.
Safety day will be April 13, from 9 am until 2 pm at North Gate Mall in Tullahoma.
We will have several fire departments, Coffee County EMS, Tullahoma police department, Coffee County Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Manchester Fire, Hillsboro Fire and Hickerson Fire will be there as
well as computer safety, safety from identity theft, Air Evac, and Vanderbilt Life Flight, and much more.
