Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park will hold their annual Spring Nature Day Saturday March 30th with programs occurring all day beginning at 8:30 am. Throughout the day, there will be wildflower hikes, bird walks, and an interpretive hike around the Native American mound site known as the Old Stone Fort. The day will conclude with a program on snakes followed by a birds of prey program including a majestic bald eagle. See the complete schedule of free programs listed below. All programs will begin at the park museum with the exception of the two bird walks. The bird hikes will begin at the site of the former golf course in the lower parking lot. The area now used as a paved walking trail is located at the end of Country Club Drive in Manchester. Foster Falls SEC Trail Day
If you enjoy rock climbing at Foster Falls, or just want to learn a bit about trail maintenance, come out to the annual Foster Falls trail day. We will be getting down and dirty, so make sure you bring work boots and gloves. Your hard work will be rewarded with a free lunch at the pavilion.
Rutledge Falls Baptist Church invites children ages 1 year old to 5th grade to their Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 -11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 30 at the church.

The Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church will be hosting an Easter Sunrise Service on Burk’s Hill located in the Ninth Model Community.

Join Ranger Jason on a moderately difficult hike into the top of Collins Gulf. There will be some early bloomers on this 4.5 mile frolic so bring your camera along with sturdy footwear, snacks, and water. Meet at the Collins West parking lot.
