The Guest Speaker is Mr. Weldon Payne, Author and Columist.

SCV CAMP 72 March 26 2013 MEETING
Maj. Gen. Benjamin F. Cheatham Camp 72 will have a dinner meeting at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 26 at the Oak Restaurant in Manchester. At 7:00 P.M. Commander Williams will open the meeting.
For program information and the most up to date info, please check our web site at http://www.tennessee-scv.org/camp72/. We usually have excellent speakers to present the programs. Our scheduled speaker is James Cook of the Sumner Cunningham Camp in Shelbyville. He will speak on Andersonville and Capt Wirz. James is an avid collector of War Between the States articles and possesses both a Spencer and Henry rifle.
Meetings are open to the general public and all War Between the States buffs have a special invitation for the program.
Membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans is open to all males 12 years of age and above who had an ancestor that served honorably in the Confederate Armed Forces or the Confederate Congress and can prove kinship either lineal or collaterally. Help is available to anyone interested in finding and proving kinship.

Three of five Collie-mix puppies who just arrived at the shelter after their mother was killed by a car. They urgently need a home.Baker is a tan and white hunting dog. Betsy is a tan and white Bull Terrier-mix. Clyde is a black and white Terrier. Corky is a tan mixed breed. Freda is a black and tan mixed breed with pricked ears. Jason is a beautiful pure bred German Shepherd. Mary is a blue and white mixed breed. Sam is a tan mixed breed with a blue collar. Tommy and Chips: Tommy is a Jack Russell Terrier and Chips is a Cairn/Yorkie mix needing TLC. Vera is a Bull Terrier-mix with a pink collar.
These and other dogs are available for adoption at the shelter, 1210 Oakdale Street in Manchester, Tenn.,

THE FRIDAY SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT ST. BEDES EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 93 ST. BEDE’S DRIVE IN MANCHESTER.
DAILY SERVICES WILL FEATURE A MESSAGE BY A LOCAL PASTOR, INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC AND A MEAL FOLLOWING EACH SERVICE.
THE OFFERING FOR THE MEAL WILL BENEFIT GOOD SAMARITAN OF MANCHESTER.
