URMC Announces a FREE Emergency Education Event
Each year thousands of lives could be saved around the world if citizens were more equipped with first aid skills.
United Regional Medical Center & the Coffee County Rescue Squad are teaming up to bring emergency education awareness to the residents of Coffee County. On Saturday February 9th, URMC and CCRS will present “Knowledge Saves Lives: A Free Emergency Education Event” from 10am-Noon at the Coffee County Rescue Squad Building in Manchester (2270 Murfreesboro Hwy).
At this event, local health professionals will teach Friends & Family Non-Certified CPR Training, School Safety Education, AED & First Responder Tips, as well as First Aid/Basic Emergency Education. Community members will also enjoy Snacks & Door Prizes during the event. Everyone is welcome who is interested in learning about basic first aid: a skill which one day may ultimately save a life.
