Brazier, 82, “died of strangulation in a manner of a homicide. Brazier was found dead last Monday at his residence on Marbury Road around noon by authorities, after his son, Ricky Brazier, who lived with his Father, called 9-1-1 to report that he had “killed his father” and “choked him.”
According to Tullahoma Police Chief Paul Blackwell, the two men had been in a domestic dispute before the death.
After being questioned by police investigators and Coffee County District Attorney’s investigator Billy Cook, the man was charged with first-degree murder in the death of his father. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail and is being held under a $500,000 bond.
Ricky Brazier, who is represented by Public Defender Margo Lamb, is scheduled to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court Feb. 20.
