Electra Christine Floyd, age 87 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on January 14, 2014 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
She was a retired auto worker, homemaker and member of the Manchester Church of Christ.
She was born in Woodbury, TN to her parents, the late Oscar Ellis Bugg and Myra Aspen Smithson Bugg; sister, Mary Ellis Newhouse; and brother, Paul Bugg.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by her loving husband, Roy E. Floyd of Manchester, TN; daughter, Dorothy B. Collingham and her husband Dale of Pinckney, Michigan; sisters, Juel McConnell (Doyle) of Manchester, TN and Elizabeth Hartsfield (Ben) of Woodbury, TN; brother Alford Bugg (Fran) of Woodbury, TN; four grandchildren, Chris Collingham, Brian Collingham, Kim Collingham and Tommy Lathers; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Mulddon, Erin Collingham, Hayden Collingham and Mira Collingham; and host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Brothers Terrell Bunting and Al Bugg, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
