Mrs. Frances Oween Lemons, age 75, of Manchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Frances was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria Lynn Hutson, and parents, A.C. and Gracie O’dell Whitt Beech.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, James B. Lemons, three daughters, Cathy Henderson and husband Ron of Casey, Illinois, Cindy Kuhn and husband Steve of Casey, Illinois, Connie Jones and husband Michael of Manchester, one son Terry Wayne Lemons and wife Tami of Charleston, Illinois, five sisters, Nancy Ryan of Effingham, Illinois, Coye Fuller and husband Joe of Charleston, Illinois, Bonnie Lee and husband Bob of Leads, Alabama, Merle Ingram of Westfield, Illinois, Charlotte Young of Charleston, Illinois, one brother, Abrom Beech and wife Sherry of Charleston, Illinois, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Lemons was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed going fishing, making quilts, sewing, camping, shopping, and gardening both vegetable gardening and flower gardening. Oween was a dedicated fan of Wheel of Fortune and watched nightly. She also watched the Marty Stuart Show on a regular basis. Mrs. Frances also liked mowing the yard, canning, and traveling.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Oween Lemons will be conducted on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother L.E. Butler officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
