In 2014 the Raiders will be looking for its first winning record since 2007.
Coffee County High School Principal Joey Vaughn says Davis will remain at the school as a teacher through the end of the year while he and athletic director Richard Skipper begin searching for his replacement. An interim coach will be named to handle day-to-day operations of the program until a head coach can be hired but he hasn’t settled on a name.
In a follow up to the story we brought you yesterday about the problems after the “Coffee Pot” game. Coffee County Principal Vaughn told WMSR that ALL individuals involved in turning the lights off during the band performances have been fairly disciplined. He said those involved were truthful with what happened and were very remorseful.
Vaughn added that he called Principal Mike Landis at Tullahoma to formally apologize for what occurred on Friday. Vaughn said that Landis told him there is no animosity toward Coffee County.
