Jimmy Windell Driver, age 74, passed away into rest on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his home in Beech Grove, Tennessee surrounded by his family.
Jimmy was a retired boat manufacturer and boat salesman for many years and a member of the Masonic Lodge; a Shriner and a member of the Hoover’s Gap Church. Jimmy will be fondly remembered as one who loved family and friends, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Woodrow Wilson Driver and Mattie Lou Milliken Driver and sister, the late Brenda Joyce Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Faye Anderson Driver of Beech Grove, TN; son, Kevin Driver and his wife (Connie) of Manchester, TN; daughter, Kristi K. Driver of Rockwood, TN; brother, Eugene “Tink” Driver and his wife Judy of Manchester, TN; two grandchildren, Kaitlin Brooke Bolick of Rockwood, TN and Alex Kilgore of Tullahoma, TN; four great-grandchildren, Eli, Anna, Noah and Abby; special friend who was “just like a son”, Robert Reecer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, October 23, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Raymond Albright and Gerald Toledo officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
