The beginning of the fall semester at Motlow College brings together the student-athletes who will represent the Bucks and Lady Bucks this season on the court and on the field. Although there have been changes in both coaches and players, Motlow will continue to compete for Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) championships.
Men’s basketball coach Matt Sligh is Motlow’s newest leader, set to begin his first season as a head coach. Aaron Holland returns for his second season leading women’s basketball, Tori Raby-Gentry will begin her third year as softball coach, and Dan McShea is back for his eighth season as head baseball coach. Basketball practice will officially begin Oct. 1, and the season is tentatively scheduled to tip off on Saturday, Nov. 2 on Motlow’s home court. The complete basketball schedule and rosters will be released in September. Baseball and softball teams will both compete during the fall, but their official season begins in late February or early March.
