Justin Hall hits his tee shot on hole 8 Thursday afternoon
It was the first home match of the year for the Coffee County golf teams. In the boys match the Raiders got two more wins by shooting a score of 161 to Shelbyville’s 162 and Tullahoma’s 175. Senior Andy Stout had to withdraw for the competition with a mild back strain. So the other 4 varsity player’s scores counted on the day. Matt Johnson shot a 1-under 35 with his brother Kyle carding a 37. Jacob Prater had a 44 and John Parigger came in with a 45. The boys now stand at 30-2 on the season.
In girl’s action the Lady Raiders were impressive as they picked up two more wins with a score of 77 to Macon County’s 79 and Tullahoma’s 105. Hollee Sadler shot a 1-over 37 and Megan Kriz scored a 40. Coffee County is now 19-3 on the year.
Both varsity teams will at a tournament Monday in Hendersonville.
