Coffee County hosted Warren County on Tuesday night in high school volleyball action at the Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gym looking to even their season record. Trailing 14 to 16 in the 1st set, Coach Andrew Taylor used a crucial time out call to rally the Raiders to a 25 to 17 set win. Leading the big comeback was Brittney Williams, whose service game kept Warren County off balance. Coffee County went on the win the next 2 sets, 25-19 and 25-15, to earn the match sweep. Williams tied Tyger Fenton and Cameron Davis for the team lead in service aces with 3. Hollie Moore was credited with 9 assists as Coffee County improved to 1 and 1 on the year. Haley Banks led the team in kills with 12 and blocks with 2 to earn the Gateway Tire and Service Center Player of the Game.
Coffee County travels to Eagleville on Wednesday with the varsity match starting at 6. The next home game for the Lady Raiders will be Thursday, August 29th as Lincoln County visits for a big district match.
