Manchester Police discovered a cache of stolen items at a residence on Wiley Street Thursday night. According to Manchester Police Chief Investigator Billy Butler, officers seized utility trailers, a tractor as well as items taken from 11 storage buildings. The investigator placed the value of the stolen items recovered at $50,000. Butler stated that they have recovered a utility trailer taken from Tractor Supply in Tullahoma, items from Manchester City Schools and a tractor and trailer taken from a business on the corner of Hwy 41 and Polk Street. Among other items taken were a table saw and other tools. Butler added that in addition to the items taken they have leads of other items at other locations. Butler noted that several of the items recovered were taken from “out in the county.” Coffee County Sheriff’s Investigator Sgt. Danny Ferrell assisted in the recovery of stolen items. Tullahoma Police Lt. Jason Ferrell noted that the trailer was recently taken from Tractor Supply and charges will be pursued. Butler stated that the investigation of the stolen items is continuing and several arrest are expected.
