Two people died over the weekend after being after the motorcycle they were riding went out of control in a sharp curve in Bedford County. According to the Shelbyville Times Gazette, 56-year-old Robert Pendlebury of Wartrace lost control of his Harley Davidson on a sharp curve near the Three Forks Bridge. Pendley and 53-year-old Decaestecker Catarina Legoaec were thrown from the motorcycle into a grove of trees. Loegoaec was pronounced dead at the scene while Pendlebur was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he later died. According to Tennessee Hwy Patrolman Chad McAnally, speed is listed as a factor in the accident.
