Manchester attorney Christina Henley Duncan has made the short list for finalist for consideration on the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeal and Court of Appeals vacancies. Christina Henley Duncan of Rogers, Duncan and North is one of six attorneys being considered for the post. She is in the running the State Court of Civil Appeals for the middle section to replace Patricia Cottrell. The Judicial Nomination Commission met last week and held public hearings as well as conducted interviews of the candidates for the three vacancies on the courts. After interviewing a total of 35 candidates for the positions, the commission selected Henley and 17 other attorneys to be sent to Gov. Bill Haslam for consideration on the court. Henley was one of three finalist for judgeship in 2007.
