Manchester Police Assistant Chief Adam Floied hands over check to CCCAC
Members of the Manchester Police Department surprised the board of directors of the Coffee County Advocacy Center with a gift this week. According Assistant Chief Adam Floied, the police department presented the agency $3,100. Floied stated that the money was in a special police fund that has been questioned by auditors. The assistant chief stated that the policemen were given a choice of placing a little over $6,000 into the general fund or donate it to a charity. The officers decided to donate it to the Dusty Elam Memorial Fund for under privileged children and the child advocacy center.
