MARILYN ANN HENLEY, age 70 of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her residence to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was a member of the Roark’s Cove Nazarene Church. She loved to attend Church and loved reading her bible and anything else she could find to read. She also enjoyed canning vegetables from her garden. She was a loving, caring and devoted, wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Long.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Parker Henley of Decherd, Tenn., mother, Gladys Jane Armel of Akron, Ohio, daughters; Lisa Branch of Manchester, Ann (Allen) Biddle of Decherd, Lorrie Henley of Winchester, twin-sister, Karilyn Braham, brother, Danny Armel both of Akron, Ohio, 9-grandchildren; Adam Holt, Ashley Coops, Paige Adcock, Kelly Henley, Lebrone Henley, Kariston Henley, Joseph Henley, Brittany Henley, Katie Henley and 12-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Henley will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with the Service to begin at 2:00 with Pastor James Frizzell, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Summerfield Cemetery in Tracy City, Tenn.
