Burial will follow in the Gnat Hill cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 2nd, from 4p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Robinson passed away Friday, May 31st at her home.
Mrs. Robinson was born in Manchester, TN to the late Ashley and Carrie Bell Majors Jacobs on June 20, 1940. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved planting flowers, reading her Bible, singing gospel songs, collecting brooch pins, and she especially loved to rise early and cook her family a large breakfast. She also loved to call and check in with her many family members and friends. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Pocahontas Church of Christ. She had a special love for her church family.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Virgil Robinson; two sons, Virgil Eugene Robinson, Jr. of Manchester, and Jeffery Dwayne Robinson of Nashville; one daughter, Lisa Statum of Manchester; two grandchildren, Ashlie (Jeremy) Thompson and Dustin (Hilary) Statum; four great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Whitney Statum, Timothy Henderson, and Alexis Thompson; one brother, Paul Jacobs, and one sister, Francis (Franklin) Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
