Thomas A.Robertson, age 61 passed away on May 22nd, 2013 at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester.
He was born on September 16th, 1951 in Aurora, IL. The son of the late Dewey Grover Robertson and Dorothy Spencer Robertson who survives.
He served for 20 years in the United States Air Force where he retired as a Staff Sergeant and crew chief over radar planes. After he retired from the Air Force, he began work for the city of Tullahoma during the mowing season beginning in 1992. He did assembly work from 1996-1997 for Cubic Precision, worked at Eaton Manufacturing from 1991-2000 assembling semi-truck transmissions. From 2004-2005. he worked at Wisco Envelope supplying the line with paper. In 2005-2006 he was employed by Micro Craft, ATK working general maintenance. From 2006-2008 he worked as a security officer in Calispell, MT and performed security work for the Iron Horse community. He also worked as a security guard for Jack Daniels in Lynchburg until 2001.
Thomas loved horses, fishing, hunting, and he made horseshoe cowboys and other arts and crafts.
Mr. Robertson was a member of the Thompson Creek Baptist Church in the Raus community.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Robertson and one sister, Janet Lynn Caron.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Robertson is survived by one sister, Jean Hambrick and her husband Buddy of Shelbyville; two brothers, Roger Robertson and Rodney Robertson both of Tullahoma; two daughters, Renee Robertson of Plainfield, IL and Melissa Tipton and her husband Eric of Thorton, CO; and three grandsons.
Visitation for Mr. Robertson will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2013 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at 10:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Lane officiating.
