Around 12:45 a.m. Monday morning a pickup truck operated by 39-year-old Robert Brian Bradford of Coker Road, Tullahoma crashed into a utility pole near the school.
Public works and Tullahoma Utilities Board representatives informed Lawson the school would be without power “for a period of time that could extend to early afternoon.”
Monday was supposed to be the first day of TCAP testing for Farrar students.
According to Dr. Lawson, Monday’s school closing will not be an issue since students are tested four out of the five-days of the school week. However, he did say he was speaking with the state testing office to see about procedures.
School was back open yesterday.
