A Relay for Life pre-event was held on the square in Manchester on Saturday. Relay for Life teams were there to raise funds to fight back against cancer. There was music, classic cars, rock climbing, a dunking booth and vendors around the square to enjoy. In only a couple of months of raising funds and Saturday’s event, thousands of dollars were raised. The actual annual Relay for Life event will be held later this month at the Coffee County Middle School track.
Organizers wanted to thank Mayor Lonnie Norman, aldermen and city workers for their help in Saturday’s activities.
