Tullahoma Animal Shelter Gets Donation

Whitney Scott, of Pool and Spa Express recently donated $4,625 to the Tullahoma Animal Shelter. Over the past year, Scott has donated $15,000 to the Animal Shelter. The donations are in a building account that will be used to build a new shelter. The presentation was made at recent meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. Animal Shelter Supervisor, Teresa Holt told the board that the Tullahoma Animal Shelter runs a no-kill facility. There is no limit to how long an animal stays at the shelter. Scott told the Board that there is a need for a new facility. Last month the shelter found homes for 45 dogs. Scott also explained that she plans to continue her support of the animal shelter with her pageant work. She said on Saturday, June 29 Miss Firecracker Pageant and proceeds will be donated to the Tullahoma Animal Shelter.
