Mrs. Edith Elnora Smith Rankins 84, of Shelbyville, TN passed Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Heritage Medical Center.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her children; Shirley (Oddie)Wingfield of Nashville, TN; Hazel (Richard) Gant; Sammie (Glenn) Johnson, Walter (Phyllis) Rankins, Delbra Ray, Andrew Rankins all of Shelbyville, TN and Rosie (Michael) Biggs of Murfreesboro, TN. Brother, Gardner (Alice) Smith, Jr of Shelbyville, TN. 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She will lie in state Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 11-12 noon at Mullin Chapel AME Church.
Visitation with Family at 12 Noon at Mullin Chapel AME Church with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Nathan Frey officiating and Rev. Fred Beasley as Eulogist.
Interment Ervin Cemetery, Shelbyville, TN
